Job Description What you'll do: Assist in the maintenance of conference database of key contacts/clients.Preparation and follow-up of conference proposals in conjunction with the Sales Executive.Provide assistance in the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs.Complete organisation of conference activity/events from confirmation to post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.Co-ordination and hosting of familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up.Co-ordination and production of conference collateral material, i.e., conference kits, direct mail pieces in liaison with the Director of Sales and Marketing.Attend and actively participate in weekly Banquets Event Order meetings and, where appropriate, sales meetings respecting the confidentiality of issues that may be discussed formally or informally.Assist as required in the management of food and beverage service within the conferencing and outside catering areas.Ensure there is a high level of cleaning and maintenance of conference area, back of house, tableware, utensils, and other materials and equipment used by conferencing.Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.Co-ordinate between conferencing and other relevant departments to ensure that preparations for conferences have been made.Ensure constant liaison with the Assistant F&B Manager to achieve the objectives of the conference department.Qualifications: A hospitality professional, ideally, with previous experience within events.A creative thinker & problem solver.Organised, detail-oriented, and ready to juggle multiple projects and tasks.Additional Information: ALL Heartist Membership - worldwide discounts on accommodation and food & beverage.Learn Your Way - Support your career development with access to Accor's industry-leading training platforms.Build Your Network - With more than 300,000 Accor professionals globally sharing the same guest passion, you have the ability to grow your hospitality network worldwide.
