Role Summary The Events and Engagement Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of Lifeline Canberra's event portfolio, including Bookfairs, community-led fundraisers, and digital media initiatives. This position focuses on providing administrative support, ensuring smooth event logistics to support Lifeline Canberra's mission.
Key Responsibilities Events Administration and Coordination
Provide logistical and administrative support for Lifeline Canberra events, including managing timelines, budgets, and vendor communications.
Manage and coordinate event materials, registrations, and volunteer assignments to ensure seamless operations.
Assist in the planning and execution of Lifeline events and community-led fundraising activities.Third-Party Fundraisers and Partnerships
Support third-party fundraisers by managing communication, resources, and donation processing.
Maintain databases and track partnerships, ensuring donors and sponsors receive timely updates and acknowledgments.Regular Donor Platform Management
Manage the regular donor platform, ensuring its functionality, accuracy, and reliability in compliance with privacy regulations and organisational policies.
Enhance donor relationships through personalised communications, timely acknowledgments, impact updates, and feedback initiatives to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns, optimise the donor platform for ease of use, and leverage digital tools and outreach strategies to attract and retain donors.Volunteer and Stakeholder Engagement
Provide administrative support for volunteer involvement in events, ensuring clear communication of roles and responsibilities.
Assist in cultivating relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners.Reporting and Documentation
Maintain detailed records of event activities, sponsorships, and donation outcomes.
Prepare reports to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.Other
Undertake other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or directed to support the successful delivery of organisational objectives, including contributing to cross-functional projects and adapting to evolving priorities.Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated experience in event coordination, administration, or a similar role, with a proactive and engaging approach to fostering strong internal communication and collaboration.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a talent for building engagement and fostering connections across teams.
A genuine passion for supporting mental health and community services, coupled with a commitment to making a positive impact.
Highly Desirable but not essential:
Proficiency in social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp).
Experience with CRM tools or donor management systems.
