The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is looking for a dynamic and motivated Event Coordinator to take the lead in organising and managing our events and conferences, including our signature annual IPE Colloquium.

Opportunity - Events Coordinator Reporting to the Director Communications, you will take stewardship of the events coordination and management functions, including leading the planning and organisational implementation of the annual IPE Colloquium and other APC branded events. The role will also plan, organise, and oversee APCs participation and sponsorship of external conferences and support key stakeholder relationships. This includes:
APC event coordination and deliveryExternal conference participation coordinationGeneral event administrationThis role requires the physical ability to handle event related materials (capable of lifting and carrying items up to 20kg as part of event setup and breakdown duties), and capacity to work occasional weekends or out of normal business hours with time in lieu available.
About You To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate skills and experience in:
event planning and management, and strong event management skillscomputer proficiency including competent skills in MS Office Suite and Adobepreferably at least 2 years in an events coordination role, and qualifications in a related discipline will be highly regarded.About APC The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is an independent not-for-profit company, responsible for accreditation of pharmacy education and training, under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS).
With 40 years of history and experience, we set and maintain the standards of pharmacy education to ensure that pharmacists who practise in Australia deliver safe and effective health care. This includes assessing overseas trained pharmacists, accrediting university programs and delivering exams to people wanting to become registered pharmacists in Australia.
We are based in the Canberra Airport Business Park complex, in a modern and well-appointed office complex, with cafes, shopping and easy access.
