Job Description The Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events for Adecco DFR.
This position involves managing event logistics from conception to completion, including venue selection, vendor coordination, participant management, and on-site event execution.
The Event Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery aligned with organisational objectives.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential to successfully execute events that enhance engagement, uphold brand standards, and achieve desired outcomes.
You will: Be responsible for coordinating regional tours, educational visits and information sessions.Conceptualise, plan, and coordinate logistics for a wide range of events, ensuring all aspects are meticulously organized and executed.Source and secure appropriate venues for events, negotiate contracts, and coordinate setup, catering, and technical requirements.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to procure services and products necessary for events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.Manage attendee registration processes, communicate event details, and provide support to participants before, during, and after events.Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure expenditures align with allocated funds and financial guidelines.Oversee event setup, coordinate activities, manage staff and volunteers, and address any issues that arise during events.Assist in developing promotional strategies, create event marketing materials, and utilise various channels to maximise event attendance and engagement.Cultivate relationships with sponsors and partners, negotiate agreements, and ensure deliverables are met to enhance event success and funding.Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback from participants and stakeholders, and compile reports to assess event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Ensure events comply with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies, implementing risk management strategies as needed to mitigate potential issues.Candidate's Profile If you have worked in a similar position or just looking for your next opportunity that will make an impact, we want to speak with you.
