This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of recruitment and engagement events, as well as providing support for the University's marketing initiatives.
The position requires collaboration with University departments, faculties, and external partners to ensure successful event delivery and consistency across all functions.The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate promotional plans, and handle all aspects of event project management either independently or as part of a team.
Experience in stakeholder management and vendor relations will be essential to ensure the smooth delivery of events.
About the personThe ideal applicant will have:A degree and/or relevant experience in event management, sales, hospitality operations, external relations, and marketing.Ability to project manage events and lead meetings and provide strategic recommendations to event hosts.Proven ability to manage multiple events in a complex environment, from planning to post-event evaluation.Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience handling event logistics and documentation.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including drafting invitations, publications, and routine correspondence.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and event management systems, with experience in sponsor and corporate partner relations.
Salary detailsThe salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
