Master Builders is the peak industry association representing building and construction in Queensland since 1882. With over 10,000 members, we offer a diverse program of events and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team.
From Boardroom lunches and Black-Tie Award nights to member evenings and social events, you will join a team of 6 and be responsible for supporting the administration, planning, execution, sponsorship and post-event reporting for our calendar of events.
We are looking for someone who: • Demonstrates a genuine passion for events with 3+ years' experience in event coordination (formal qualifications highly regarded)
• Experience in the planning, coordination & execution of a variety of events, including workshops, gala dinners & information sessions
• Is a self-starter and not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get involved
• Is a confident and effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Is exceptionally organised with proven administration skills and a keen eye for detail
• Has a flair for managing multiple priorities
• Is a proficient user of the Microsoft office suite, including excel
• Can provide the flexibility to attend some out of hours events, including occasional travel to regional Queensland (calendar determined in advance)
