ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
This is a full time position during term time, commencing in January 2025.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Events Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences for both internal and external events for St Paul's School.
As Events Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating School events, including events that target new families and students, existing families and students, supporter groups and the external community. The role includes event coordination, liaison with external venues, budget preparation and management, collaboration with internal stakeholders and the formulation of the annual events schedule.
This is a full time position during school term time. You would not be required to work during School Holidays unless there was a specific event occurring at that time.
You will need flexibility in working hours to support your attendance at School events that may occur outside of scheduled School hours.
This position is classified as a School Officer, Level 4 in The Queensland Anglican Schools Enterprise Agreement.

ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills;
Qualifications in Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Business Administration (or a related field) or an equivalent level of professional experience in an Event Coordination role. Proven experience in coordinating and managing functions and events, preferably in an educational or hospitality setting. Working knowledge of event staging and logistics Experience with managing budgets and purchasing resources.
