Events Coordinator / Events Officer

REGVIC2410 - Randstad is currently partnered with a Geelong based Government Client seeking an events officer on a temporary assignment of 4 weeks.Your new roleThis role involves managing a range of events, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth program delivery.
You will work closely with stakeholders, including educators and local service providers, to ensure the effective operation of the Geelong Regional Centre.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage events, including logistics, scheduling, and participant communication.Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.Support event-related project planning, including risk assessment and quality control.Manage procurement processes and contract negotiations with suppliers.Maintain event records and track performance against objectives.Provide exceptional customer service and ensure participant satisfaction throughout the event life cycle.What you'll need to succeed: Proven experience in event coordination and stakeholder management.Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute multiple events.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.Please note, to be considered for this role, you MUST: Proven experience in organising events or transferable experience.Strong stakeholder management skills.Proficient in technology systems and event coordination.This role offers you an hourly rate of up to $44 per hour + super, an opportunity to progress your career within the Government sector.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or email .
