The Event Consultant is a pivotal role within the ICC Group responsible for seamlessly coordinating various events, from weddings and social gatherings to corporate events. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be the core point of contact for Social Events and Wedding clientele starting from sales all the way to the actual event execution, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients. From venue bookings to coordination and execution across all ICC Group venues, you will be offering first-class customer service!About the role:Dabble across Corporate, Social Events, Wedding Reservations & Coordination:Liaise with the client to receive event details and client requirements.Conduct in-person site visits for potential clients across our properties.Plan, coordinate, and manage all events, ensuring that they run smoothly and meet client expectations.Work closely with venue staff, chefs, caterers, decorators, and other suppliers to ensure all aspects of the event are in place.Handle any last-minute changes, issues, or requests related to events.Handle phone, online, and in-person enquiries for all ICC Group venues.Coordinate with restaurant managers and chefs to ensure special requests, dietary needs, or other requirements are met.Use OpenTable for tracking reservations, ensuring there are no overlaps or conflicts.Offer exemplary customer service, addressing any concerns or feedback from guests regarding their experience.Administrative Duties:Maintain a detailed and organized calendar of all upcoming social events and clients.Handle client contracts, invoices, and payments related to event bookings.Regularly update the reservation system and any other relevant databases.Attend regular team meetings and training sessions as required.About you:You are detail-oriented and highly organised.You have the ability to immediately develop rapport with customers and make them feel at ease as their events come to life.You are also a great communicator and can convey the plan well to all key stakeholders as you interpret the sales plan and turn it into action with the events team.You like to work in a bubbly team but also thrive in autonomy!Essential:Prior work experience in hospitality, weddings, sales, event management, or a related field.Ability to coordinate and deliver successful events.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Ability to work well within a team and with external clients.Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.Why Join Us:Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry.Showcase your creativity and talent while working with discerning clients who value your expertise.Enjoy competitive compensation: 90K salary + 11.5% superannuation and annual leave loading, with quarterly commissions on top!Experience the satisfaction of turning dreams into reality and creating memories that last a lifetime.Opportunities for growth and ongoing training to ensure you get the best of your time with us.$25 a day meal allowance included.Onsite parking spot.Health & Wellbeing package available for staff as well as discounts across the Group including our hotels.If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, we'd love to hear from you.If you'd like a confidential chat about the role, give us a call direct or you can email the Head of Sales, ******.
