Events Banquet Leader $26.21 per hour, Part Time Sea World, Main Beach, Gold Coast The opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional team member who wants to step up and help grow our guests experience while working alongside a growing Events Department.
Your day to day
• Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage the shift including responsibility for task allocation and supervision of staff
• Demonstrate effective teamwork qualities with an understanding of legislative health and safety
• Brief & motivate the team while displaying a strong work ethic, ensuring the quality of the event is always maintained.
• Take responsibility for the setup & pack down of the event.
• Engage with Supervisors to develop and improve your area of responsibility.
• Conduct training & assess the competency of team members to assist in team development & mentoring.
• Maintain & ensure transparent communication with the client when required.
What you'll bring
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is a requirement (valid in Queensland)
• Bar Knowledge with the relevant experience is an advantage.
• You should be willing to lead a shift and be responsible for your assigned area
• Event experience and a keen eye for presentation
• Comprehensive knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) skills.
• Have a positive attitude towards improving guest's experience
• Forklift, RMLV and Manual driver's license is an advantage.
