Major events Closely knit, high performing teamPassionate about working with the best systems & technologyAbout The RoleAustralian Green Clean has had an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, based at our head office in Hindmarsh. The successful candidate will work closely to support the Events Team to deliver cleaning & waste management services at major events & festivals.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesClosely support the Events Coordinator with various tasks to deliver services to major Events & Festivals.Assist in preparing & updating Project Plans and Implementation Schedules.Assist with large recruitment drives for cleaning staff.Onboard newly recruited employees via Rapid Global and ensure they are compliant prior to commencing work.Assist in coordinating pre-event administrative functions, particularly around staffing requirements (scheduling upwards of 150 employees).Prepare pre & post event cleaning timelines.Liaise with contractors & suppliers, obtain quotes and schedule services.Work as part of the onsite management team for major events.Why Join Us?Form part of a closely-knit, high performing team.Work on the largest events and festivals in South Australia.We are passionate about working with the best systems & technology available.We are an industry leading organisation.Career progression opportunities.We will train you to be the best at what we do.What do we require from you?You are an administrative & organising guru!Sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps; Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms.Current drivers license & own vehicle.High level of attention to detail.A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn new things.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.High level of initiative & problem-solving skills.A champion of our Values & Cultures; Make it Happen, Team Work, Excellence, Sustainability.About UsOur vision is to make the world more liveable and we pride ourselves on being the market leaders in delivering sustainable, reliable, quality and affordable cleaning and waste management services.
