About the Role As an Events Assistant, you will provide event support to the Event & Marketing Managers within the Institutional space.
It will be the perfect role for someone looking to build experience, understand marketing based events and launch their event career in a corporate space.

Role Location: Can be based in Melbourne or Sydney Role Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours weekly) What will your day look like?
As an Event Assistant, you will be accountable for:  Assisting with the planning and coordination for Institutional Marketing events.
Managing event schedules, logistics, and providing support to suppliers.
Assisting the Events Team and once ready, leading your own event projects.
Providing onsite event support and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Maintaining detailed event records and documentation.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of event processes and procedures Coordinating the efficient and timely processing of purchase requisitions and invoices related to events.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Background in one or more of the following disciplines - Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business or related work experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Powerpoint) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to think on your feet and handle challenges with confidence and composure.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
A passion for delivering exceptional events and contributing innovative ideas.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
