Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, this PART-TIMEroleis pivotal in attracting and coordinating profitable business events within RAC Arena. Working with corporate clients and alongside key internal departments, this role will best suit a naturally enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, event management and business development.
About Role Source, quote and coordinate business events for new and existing clientsPlan, implement and measure a comprehensive business events sales planNegotiate with hirers to secure business while maintaining profitability and qualityPrepare and analyse reports and key correspondenceConduct site inspections and meetings with clientsAssist the Partnerships Manager with executing the venues sponsorship programAttend networking and industry events as required, which can occur outside of office hoursWorking with the team to ensure event management standards are maintained at the highest level.About You Two-three years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar environment/industryPersonality plus! A bright, all-round people personA multi-tasker with exceptional problem solving and organisational skills with attention to detailDriven by sales targets and possessing sound understanding of budgetingExperience in operations, sales, event management, or partnershipsAn Australian resident or permanent residentSuccessful applications will be required to submit a Police ClearanceDesirable
Experience in managing data and using CRM programs (e.g., Momentus, Navision).A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in events, tourism, hospitality or related field.About Venue RAC Arena is the home of live entertainment in Western Australia.
