In recent years, our workforce has doubled, and we now proudly employ over 300 professionals dedicated to helping shape Australia's future and fulfilling our mission of empowering communities.About the roleThe Events and Facility Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the seamless and professional management of SA's corporate hospitality facilities and meeting spaces. This role serves as the primary point of contact for meeting organisers and stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and support to ensure the success of all events and meetings. The coordinator also oversees the maintenance and readiness of these spaces, addressing facility and property-related requests to uphold the organisation's standards of excellence.What you'll doOversee the front desk to ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitorsCoordinate daily mail collection and distribution, working closely with delivery partners to ensure timely handling of all correspondenceEnsure all meeting rooms and employee kitchens are consistently clean, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a professional environment for both staff and guestsCollaborate with colleagues to maximize the efficient use of on-site meeting roomsManage relationships with external providers, such as our catering providers, to ensure the timely and flawless delivery of services for all meetings and eventsSupport Events and Facilities Managers with the end-to-end planning and execution of events, ensuring every aspect is coordinated seamlessly from initial concept through to final completionAct as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on event objectivesEnsure event budgets are managed and tracked to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standardsSupervise all event activities, including setup, coordination and to ensure events run smoothly and meet expectationsRespond to maintenance requests and ensure timely issue resolutionConduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standardsAbout you2+ years' experience in the hospitality or service industry preferable but not essentialExperience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsCulture & BenefitsStandards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024.
