About the Role Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Business Operations, the Events and Experiences Manager will lead the club's event portfolio, with a focus on ensuring iconic and memorable experiences. The role will encompass NRL, NRLW and Netball events and will range from consumer and fan engagement events, to major club galas.
A typical week in this role looks like:
Manage a suite of club events, running the end-to-end organisation and execution. You'll need to be a creative thinker who can bring a fresh approach to how we deliver our key club events. Manage the club events budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Work in conjunction with all club departments to ensure you're bringing to life experiences for their key stakeholders. This could include Member events, commercial and corporate events, community-based events or full club gala events. Oversee the Titans gameday event experience with a focus on driving fan experience and consumer engagement. Work closely with the Gameday Operations Manager to ensure club gamedays are functioning at the highest level. Work closely with the club's marketing and consumer team to create fan engagement events and opportunities to help grow the Titans fanbase. Lead, develop and inspire a small team to deliver against club and department objectives. About You Required:
5+ years experience in consumer events Demonstrated experience working in a management role, including managing staff and stakeholders Proven experience in budget management and project timelines Experience organising and executing large-scale events End-to-end event management and executional accountability Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent time management skills and high levels of attention to detail Ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders Strong interpersonal, and highly developed communication skills in both written and verbal form Willing to work weekends and nights as required Current QLD Working with Children Check Degree in Business, Event or Sport Management, Project Management or the equivalent field An understanding of rugby league, sport and/or the Gold Coast Titans This position is a full-time role with working days Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of the business, weekend work will be required throughout the NRL season to attend and cover home games.
