Events Administrator

Details of the offer

We're looking for an awesome administrator to join our Events Administration team. This thriving team manages invoicing and setlist processing for event, festival, and promoted concert clients, ensuring a smooth process for customers and exceptional service to our members. We are open to the role being based in our Ultimo or Collingwood office.
We are a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 119,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members' music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.
Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive mindset will contribute to the success of our team.
As an events administrator, you'll:
Process event licence applications and create invoices. Enter details of concert setlists and music use reports to ensure that we can distribute royalties accurately to our members.   Verify client details and update our system accordingly. Electronically file licence agreements and client correspondence. To thrive in this role, you are:
Detail and action oriented, and you get things done in a timely manner. Proficient in using client management systems and Microsoft office software. An excellent communicator. A music lover. Prior experience in event administration or music licensing would be a bonus! What you'll love:
A supportive and collaborative team environment that values your ideas and contributions. Hybrid work options, combining the convenience of remote work with in-office collaboration. Generous employee benefits such as: learning and development programs; 18 weeks paid parental leave; discounted private health benefits; novated lease vehicles arrangements; access to financial services; employee assistance programs and more. If you're passionate about music, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to contribute to the success of our organisation, we'd love to hear from you!
Application Process: To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you're the ideal candidate for this role by 3 July. We look forward to seeing your application!

While this role is one that requires specific skills and experience, we are encouraging people from all diverse groups who are interested in this position to put an application in, even if they're not sure if they meet every single bit of the selection criteria.
