Event Specialist

A stunning coastal venue south of Batemans Bay is seeking an Event Specialist for a permanent opportunity Your new company Be part of a growing world-class venue located just 30 minutes south of Batemans Bay. They're seeking a passionate, experienced and innovative Event Specialist to support corporate conferences, large scale community events, weddings and private functions. Your new role An eye for detail and ensuring a high level of service and professionalism is maintained will be paramount to the success of this role - bringing together and integrating the different parts of the business with excellent planning and execution of events. You'll be responsible for coordinating internal stakeholder events, venue hire events, supporting the conferencing and meeting facilities and the wider Food and Beverage team. Key responsibilities include: Identify opportunities to evolve the venue's event offering to each target market Create new ideas, brainstorm and implement event concepts and themes Prepare details and concise event documentation, e.g. run sheets, WIPs, briefs and SOPs Prepare, manage and track event budgets for optimal efficiency and processing of quotes and invoices, reconcile budgets post event Inform and keep the wider team up to date with all event timings and plans Project manage assigned events from briefing and planning to execution - coordinating all operational and logistical elements of the event What you'll need to succeed Do you have the following attributes and experience?
