As an Event Planner, you will have the opportunity to bring extraordinary events to life within our world-class events centre.
From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, you will be the driving force behind flawless execution, ensuring every aspect is meticulously planned and executed to perfection.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your Event Planning expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.
A few of your responsibilities: Manage all aspects of event planning, from concept development to post-event evaluation Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and exceeding expectations Collaborate with our talented culinary team to curate exceptional menus and remarkable dining experiences Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning What we are looking for: Proven experience in event management, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industries Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and vendor coordination Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain cool under pressure A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences About you: With your exceptional organisational skills and event planning background, you will take pride in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Events team up for success.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Events team at The Star.
