We are seeking a dynamic and driven Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of events at Cairns Events Hub.
This role involves managing both public & private events (including pool parties, boat parties and bar crawls) ensuring exceptional service and value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Management: Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
Sales & Marketing: Promote our offerings, including pub crawls and private charters, through targeted marketing campaigns, particularly on social media (Instagram and Tik Tok).
Content Creation: Produce engaging content to promote upcoming events on Instagram and Tik Tok, including marketing materials and discount offers from local businesses.
Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads for private charters and events, managing inquiries and converting them into sales.
Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to create innovative deals and partnerships that enhance our event offerings.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff members to assist in ticket sales and event operations, online and in person around Cairns.
Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in event management or a related field.
Strong marketing and sales skills, with a focus on lead generation and conversion.
Knowledge of Tik Tok and Instagram account building and promotions.
Excellent relationship-building abilities and communication skills, particularly with suppliers and partners.
Strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
Effective management and team leadership experience.
Hunger for commission and performance-based success.
Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
Compensation: Competitive base salary (negotiable).
