We are excited about our growth plans for 2025 and are looking for talented and experienced Event Managers to join our business with passion, enthusiasm, and the drive to produce catering, event, and function excellence. Working with our talented culinary team, you will manage the end-to-execution of events showcasing the best in West Australian Food and Beverage and Event Management services. We are fortunate that our clients value quality as much as we do.
What You'll Do as Event Manager: Provide Concept Event Management: inclusive of menu creation, scheduling, production oversight, venue sourcing, logistics management, onsite event management, and post-event reconciliation;Understand Event P+L management and have the ability to manage costs on each event to drive profitability;Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage, staying abreast of industry trends to ensure our services remain at the highest standard;Ensure each event is executed to the highest standards by guiding and developing client requests, identifying opportunities for enhancing outcomes;Oversee operations and logistics for events, supporting the Heyder & Shears team on large and high-profile events as needed;Support on-event Function Managers to ensure service teams are well-prepared for success;Uphold and promote our organisational culture, embodying our values: Respect, Passion, Pride & Unity;Actively contribute to office management, including welcoming guests and supporting team members as required.We have several portfolios of work that we are looking for the best in Perth to manage: WeddingsCorporatePrivateVenue (WAM / WAMM)Large FormatRemoteNew Tender and Venue ContractsDependent on your expertise and the caliber of applications, we will combine sectors / tailor portfolios to suit, so you (and we) can excel in building our relationships in our amazing community.
What We Are Looking For: Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a specialised sector of event management and/or hospitality;Strong communication style with the ability to adapt to event management platforms;Possess a boundless appetite for food and quality produce with a keen eye for detail delivering unique, quirky, and innovative events;Can seamlessly integrate into a strong, successful team and adapt to diverse environments quickly;Practices good time management, efficiently solving logistical issues under pressure – we always have a Plan B…Approved Manager Required, Food Safety Supervisor well regarded;Strong personal presentation - suitable for various clients and locations we serve.
