With a diverse range of facilities including multiple dining and bar areas, gaming room, event spaces, retail bottle shop, 4.5-star accommodation, and a coffee shop, we are a vibrant and thriving establishment that takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests.
The Event Manager role is for a people person who enjoys delivering great guest experiences.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of a variety of events, which range from meetings, workshops, trade shows, celebrations, and weddings, as well as several venue-activated events each year.
Responsibilities of the role include: Leading and supervising the Events team, ensuring an exceptional client experience at every stage of the journey.Passion for the product.
Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver consistency around all aspects of food and beverage.Managing client budgets to maximise revenue, meet client needs, and ensure all details including financials are correct.Managing commercial outcomes, including effective rostering to manage labour costs, COGS & operating expenses.Key Knowledge of candidate: Understanding of event floor management, especially running medium to large-scale events and floor teams.Experience with client account management.
Ivvy experience is desirable.Skills to be organised, accountable, self-motivated, and action-oriented.Be a relationship builder and have excellent stakeholder management skills.Strong attention to detail and maintenance of venue presentation - every little detail matters.About you: You will be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with experience collaborating with team members across the venue and the leadership team.
