About the role Australian Green Clean is seeking a dedicated and experienced Events Manager to lead our supervisors team.
This role has great opportunities to work with clients, lead a team and get access to hundreds of events each year!
The Events Manager is required to provide leadership, support and guidance to Site Supervisors and Cleaners for events across the calendar year.
This person must be able to deliver operational requirements to support sustainable business growth and meet or exceed contract budgets.
This includes ensuring client satisfaction by upholding and driving the company's values & cultures throughout the business, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance to standards, identifying and mitigating risk and ensuring WH&S industry best practices are followed.
Your exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure will ensure all of our events and venues remain spotless and adheres to all waste management regulations.

There is an expectation that the Events Manager will work some weekends and public holidays.
Key areas of responsibility Manage day to day events operations to deliver key customer, budget & GP goals Lead, train and manage supervisors and staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties Assist the Events Operations Manager to effectively manage all site operations Have a clear understanding of the agreed scope of works for each event client and deliver on client requests.
Lead, manage and motivate the onsite cleaning teams and supervisors, provide onsite training relating to cleaning and waste management methods and standards.
Manage workforce resourcing, including rostering, time and attendance approval and covering unplanned absences (in conjunction with the Events Assistants).
Implement and manage best practice WH&S practices to achieve zero LTI's Monitor individual and team performance and workload and take action to address identifiable learning, development needs & ongoing productivity improvement Implement procedures to deliver and improve business outcomes Support supervisors and staff by building required competencies, providing feedback, managing behaviours and performance gaps Ensure services are provided to the highest standard and have initiative to problem solve Develop strong client relationships, deliver excellent customer service and positive communication to all clients both internal and external Support sales & business development in gaining new clients to grow the business, including walk throughs, pricing processes and all other assistance as needed by management Essential criteria At least 2 years' experience managing a labour intensive team Experience of cleaning service operations in an events or venue capacity Organised, with excellent time management and project skills High level of initiative, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Experience managing a team, including rostering, delivering training and toolbox sessions, addressing performance and/or performance management issues.
Ability to work from complex instructions and procedures; multitask and remain calm in stressful situations to make the right decisions.
An effective team player, with ability to adapt and change while supporting others to achieve individual and business targets.
