About Neon Brush:Neon Brush is coming to Perth for 4 straight weekends!
Neon Brush is a vibrant and innovative painting experience where participants get to unleash their creativity under neon lights in a dark environment.
It is a BYO event, allowing guests that are 18+ to enjoy their beverages while creating their masterpieces.
Neon Brush aims to provide a fun, relaxed, and inspiring atmosphere for all skill levels.
Job Overview:As the Event Manager for Neon Brush, you will oversee all aspects of event execution, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and the successful delivery of each session.
You will collaborate with artists, support staff, and the Fever team to manage logistics, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities: Event Operations: Coordinate event setup and breakdown, ensuring the venue is prepared and equipment is ready before each session.Manage event schedules, ensuring that sessions start and end on time.Supervise staff, artists, and vendors to ensure all parties are aligned and performing their roles efficiently.Handle attendee check-in, guest inquiries, and any on-site customer support needs.Assist with venue bump in & out.Logistics and Vendor Management: Ensure all necessary supplies (paints, canvases, aprons, etc.)
are available and properly set up.Liaise with venue management and vendors to handle logistics, including venue access, equipment delivery, and supplies.Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., cleaning services if needed).Team Leadership: Lead the three-person team, including yourself and two painting instructors/artists to deliver a smooth event.Provide guidance and troubleshooting during events to maintain a high standard of service and experience.Communicate effectively with staff, providing clear instructions and managing any on-site challenges.Guest Engagement: Ensure a welcoming and energetic environment for attendees, facilitating a smooth flow from arrival to departure.Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.Assist in maintaining a fun, creative atmosphere that encourages participants to engage and enjoy the experience.Post-Event Duties: Supervise venue cleanup and ensure all materials and equipment are properly stored after each session.Gather and report feedback from attendees to help improve future sessions.Provide event debriefs to the Fever team, detailing successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.Requirements: Flexibility to work weekends.ABN (can be applied for if successful).Proven experience as an event manager or manager in a similar role, ideally within the entertainment, creative industries, or hospitality industry.Understanding of dealing with customers/customer service.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple aspects of an event simultaneously.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to lead a team and interact positively with a diverse group of attendees.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances during live events.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leading art workshops or classes.Background in fine arts or related field.Familiarity with various painting techniques and styles.What We Offer: Competitive pay.A dynamic and creative working environment.Opportunities to showcase your artistic skills and creativity.Collaboration with a passionate and supportive team.Application Process: To apply, please submit your resume and a short cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are excited about this opportunity via the 'Apply Now' button on this listing.
