Event Coordinator role working for a great events supplier based in outer Perth suburbs on a salary of $70K - $80K plus super.
The Company:A major supplier in the events space in Perth is looking for a new Events Coordinator to join their team.
This is an interesting role that combines the ability to be client-facing while also managing stock and warehouse requirements.
The supplier has offices across Australia, and this position will be based in a team of 6 in the Perth office.
Position Terms:Full-time permanent roleWorking full-time in the officeSalary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus super depending on experienceThe Role:The Event Coordinator will report to the National Operations Manager and will be responsible for handling all stock and warehouse management for the supplier, ensuring the stock is maintained and the right amounts go out to events.
Additionally, this role involves being client-facing on-site, working with clients, handling VIPs, and managing a team of casuals on the day for installations and requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:Managing the warehouse stock, planning, and preparation for the eventsWorking with clients to ensure all their requirements for what they need on the day are metManaging inventory of stock to ensure that client requirements are met, handling upkeep of the stock when requiredOverseeing international and interstate deliveries of stock when requiredHandling the planning for the events on-site including stock requirements, casual labor, and crew, bump in and bump outManaging the installation of product on the day with the team and working with the client to ensure all needs are metEnsuring all casual staff are on-site, briefed, and ready for the event on the dayManaging resources on the day so all client needs are met and equipment is handled wellManaging team needs on-site at eventsManaging stock levels on the day and ensuring all stock meets the requirements of the job for the clientHandling reporting of everything post-eventThe Candidate:The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook, be able to work with everyone from VIPs to casual crew and clients, and manage all requirements for on-site events.
Experience managing events on-site, handling bump in and out requirements, as well as experience managing teams of people will be advantageous for this role.
