Primarily, our goal is to lift the standards of the Electrotechnology Industry and provide a voice and fight for the rights and interests of our members, while delivering critical information to ensure that our members remain in front of changes that may affect the Industry. ABOUT THE ROLE The Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, preparation, marketing, delivery and continuous improvement of events held by NECA Group (NSW, WA, QLD, ACT & TAS). Reporting to the Events Manager & the NECA Group Operations Manager, the Events Coordinator handles events-related member queries and sponsor liaison across the NECA Group and supports the Events Manager in delivering NECA Group events. This full-time role offers a generous salary package, two working-from-home days, a close-to-home location and on-site parking. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Assisting with event logistics and registrations for all NECA Group events Coordinate the Excellence and Apprentice Awards judging process for NECA Group Act as a point of contact for NECA Group members for all event related queries Assist with NECA Group events as required Liaise with all event suppliers/venues as required Coordinate the travel arrangements prior to each event for NECA Group staff Coordinate onsite staff responsibilities during each event Assist with the on-the-day delivery of the event when required Processes NECA Group events invoicing and accounts Distributes communication and certificates relating to CPD program events Assisting with event logistics and registrations as needed for the NECA Conference Provide relevant information to members and answer member queries when required Other related marketing tasks as required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking an individual that brings energy, enthusiasm and motivation to the role and enjoys working for a non-for-profit organisation. All training will be provided. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Current class C drivers licence Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise competing priorities Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and social media Displayed "can-do" attitude and active contribution to develop a culture of excellence, creativity, responsiveness and flexibility Attention to detail Strong general administrative skills Excellent problem-solving skills Well-developed customer service skills Well-developed organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills Willingness to undertake light event set up duties Willingness to work outside of normal working hours and travel if required If you believe you are the right person for us, please apply.
