Make a difference as an Event Consultant

YOUR ROLE As an Event Consultant within Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, you'll create dynamic and engaging events experiences and campaigns that inspire employee and stakeholder engagement, bringing the IAG spirit to life.
Working closely with the Events Lead and Event Consultant, you'll play a key role in the end-to-end management of all events in your portfolio.
This will include working with the business on initial event briefs, presenting proposals and recommendations, preparing budgets, sourcing venues and speakers, preparing project plans and managing the delivery and execution of the events (in-person, hybrid and virtual).
You will plan, design and deliver high profile external and internal events that support IAG's corporate calendar and Group Leadership Executives.
This is a permanent role based in Gadigal Country (Sydney).
ABOUT YOU Proven experience in corporate event management for a large ASX listed or similar entityExperience in and detailed knowledge of the factors to be considered in arranging high-profile eventsExcellent interpersonal and communications skills required to engage suppliers and stakeholders to deliver outstanding events, within fixed timelines and to agreed budgetsHighly organised, with superior attention to detail and forward planningPractical and action-oriented approach with the ability to respond quickly to changing briefs and circumstancesAbility to work with diverse stakeholder groups at all levels of the organisationHigh levels of planning work analysis and problem-solvingAbility to persuade and influence and work effectively as a member of a teamAbility to maintain the confidentiality of information gained in carrying out the rolePrior knowledge and strong understanding of EventsAIR softwareApplications close – Friday 13 December at 23 : 59 AEDT.
