The Position: Due to the continued growth of the College, we are seeking a suitably qualified Event and Community Coordinator who, in conjunction with the Community Engagement & Development Manager, will design and maintain a diary of engagement events for the college.
The position will be Full-Time for a fixed 12-month period (Maternity Leave Position), and the successful candidate will work across our Werribee and Melton Campuses.
This appointment commences early 2025.
The Person: The Event and Community Coordinator will have the relevant experience to:
Exhibit creativity and initiative when designing College-wide events.Organise and coordinate the annual student photography contractor across both campuses.Assist the Marketing & Enrolments team by guiding the process and smooth delivery of prospective student/family events across both campuses.Work to tight deadlines.Manage multiple projects in alignment with targets and deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment.Demonstrate a high level of communication, professional, and interpersonal skills.Be willing to develop their career through professional development.Be a team player with the ability to work autonomously.Be tech-savvy and quick to learn.Guide relevant leaders, stakeholders, and teams through the process, empowering them to take ownership of the vision and the event.Education and Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Relevant qualifications (Event/Marketing/Public Relations) and two years relevant industry experience.Experience in face-to-face events and promotional activities will be highly regarded.Strong communication skillset.Hold or be willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check & Police Check.For more information, please access the detailed Position Description here.
