The role will involve:This role will be focusing on all operational tasks for new & existing Hemisphere European customers, building relationships & offering the highest level of customer care. This role requires an individual who is organised, works well under pressure, shows good attention to detail, can demonstrate good multitasking skills, has a strong work ethic & enjoys problem solving.
Ideally, the individual would have some experience within the European freight industry and have some understanding of customs formalities required to move shipments between the UK and EU.
European Operations, inclusive of dealing directly with Clients on operational needs & liaising with suppliers to deliver on appropriate servicesCustoms entries & documentation for all movements to a high accuracy level and standardBuilding and maintaining client relations for continued business with customersData capture and record keepingSupporting customers with general transportation adviceInternal auditing checks to maintain high level customs complianceProactive approach to problem solving and opportunitiesWorking with HMRC and other customs authoritiesEnsuring customers/partners are receiving first class customer serviceAdditional aspects may be included depending on an applicant's skill set and experience.You will need to have:The below experience and skills will give any applicant an advantage.
