Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complementary medicine manufacturers. The Microbiology Technician will be responsible for conducting facility validation testing at our clients' new GMP facility, located in Clayton. The validation testing will include viable and non-viable environmental monitoring, utility testing and management of sample logistics.
Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader the role will focus on: Performing a range of microbiological, chemical and physical environmental monitoring and utilities testing.Adhering to testing procedures at all times.Result entry and review.Perform OOS investigations as required.Essential selection criteria: Diploma in Microbiology or Laboratory Skills.Previous GMP experience.Willingness to operate flexibly and switch priorities at short notice.Good team player, organised, accurate, with strong documentation skills.Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.Occasional weekend and public holiday work will be required.Ability to quickly learn new processes.Please note: Current Eurofins employees should first speak with their Business Unit Manager before submitting an application for this position.
