Offer Description Granular hydrogels are small hydrogel particles that have multiple uses in the biomedical engineering field. They are commonly used as carrier particles for the large scale manufacturing of stem cells in suspension culture and as injectable scaffold materials in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. This project aims to develop hydrogel microparticle systems for these applications, which will entail the development of hydrogel systems with bespoke biological properties, fabrication of the hydrogels into particles with controllable size, and evaluation of their use in suspension culture and/or tissue engineering applications.
