THE ROLE As an Estimating Manager, you will lead a team of skilled estimators, overseeing the accurate and efficient estimation of project costs and ensuring that our proposals align with our clients' needs and industry standards.
Your day-to-day tasks would involve but are not limited to: Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support. Manage team workflow and liaise with other department managers. Conduct ETS analysis and reporting, contract forecasting, and FTC margin analysis. Perform margin and erosion analysis. Assist in the implementation of new suppliers and subcontractors with the Procurement Team. Assist in system, process, VPB, and database maintenance. Problem-solve with other department managers. Report on department performance in management meetings. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Work on new projects specific to the Domaine business. To be successful in this role, you'll need: A driven individual with leadership qualities and the desire to manage a team. Relevant qualifications in Residential Building OR Diploma in Building Studies OR Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying (desired). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
