We are investing in new and existing capabilities and have a number of exciting opportunities available. The Ethical Sourcing Specialist ensures that all suppliers meet the company's human rights and ethical standards, complying with established codes, policies, and protocols.
This role manages the ethical sourcing platform, supports new supplier screening and onboarding and ensures adherence to CRG ethical sourcing principles.
Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, addressing non-compliances, monitoring supplier performance with regards to human rights and social compliance and maintaining complete and accurate records for the ethical sourcing program.
Key Accountabilities Policy Development and Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in the development and communication to stakeholders of policies, standards, and position statements related to supply chain human rights due diligence and ethical sourcing practices, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.Monitoring and Compliance: Manage social compliance across all suppliers, ensuring adherence to the company's Code of Conduct, and following up on corrective action plans to address non-compliances including tracking due dates and status.Training & Program Support: Support the delivery of ethical and responsible sourcing training programs through various formats, including seminars, webinars, group engagements, and one-on-one sessions, to ensure stakeholders are educated on ethical sourcing policies and practices.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives that empower the supply chain and strengthen compliance with human rights.Data & Reporting: Collect and analyse data to populate ethical sourcing monitoring and reporting systems, particularly in relation to human rights, social compliance and labour standards, and living wage benchmarking.Sustainability & Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse data to populate ethical sourcing monitoring and reporting systems, particularly in relation to human rights, social compliance and labour standards, and living wage benchmarking.Key Capabilities Relevant Degree or DiplomaPrevious experience working in the Ethical Trade and Social Compliance space, with a proven track record of managing compliance across a large, diverse supplier base.Demonstrated experience in addressing and resolving ethical issues, including identification, risk assessment, and remediation within global supply chains.Experience in managing offshore suppliers, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges involved in maintaining compliance across international borders.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations of social compliance data and reports.Proficient in data management and reporting, with advanced skills in MS Excel and the ability to handle large datasets while balancing multiple competing priorities.Why work for CRG?
