We work on projects of all sizes from one-off developments to mega-programmes, from planning the future development across Water, Utilities and Infrastructure projects to site based construction of individual projects, while helping the largest companies in the world.
We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use.
In an Estimating role, you will have knowledge in: First principles estimating in the Water, Utilities and Infrastructure sectors.
Preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and expenditure profiles for projects and work packages.
Co-ordination and production of feasibility studies and multi-tier cost reports.
Undertake key tendering and procurement activities, including establishing pre-qualification stage requirements, preparation of pre-tender estimates, tender analysis, tender reports and the compilation of contractual documents.
Deep analysis and assessment of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and the supply chain.
Application of estimating and cost planning activities including producing and presenting a final cost plan.
Qualifications Currently in Australia with full working rights.
A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management desired.
MRICS / AIQS accreditation ideal.
Key relevant Water, Utilities and Infrastructure experience.
8+ years experience in the industry is preferred.
Proficient in the use of Cost X, Unifer, Ecosys, Candy or other equivalent tools.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
Highly motivated and passionate individual, showing a clear ability to deliver great outcomes for clients.
