National structural and stainless steel fabricator in business for over 25 years, serving commercial projects around NSW and QLD. Fabrication of structural steel components for commercial structures, then erecting projects across Australia with multinational clients, servicing maintenance, line coverage, machine installation, shutdowns, manufacturing platforms, pipework, sheet metal, and stainless steel fabrication.

About the Role:
As the Estimator, you will use Excel to formulate quotes and estimates for clients requiring structural steel and stainless steel for commercial structures. You will be running the project from beginning to end, liaising directly with clients and coordinating with the workshop and site crews. A thorough understanding of estimating and costing structural steel is essential, including relevant codes and standards.

Skills and Experience Required: Structural Steel and Stainless Steel Knowledge (essential) 5 years of Estimating and Quoting experience in structural steel Background in Structural Steel fabrication Strong skills using Excel and Office software Excellent communication skills Strong customer/client relationship skills Understanding of project lifecycle from fabrication through to erection
