Key Duties & Responsibilities: Attend sites & estimate for building re-instatement worksInterpret scope of works provided by consultantsWrite scope of works documents when requiredWork in conjunction with supervisors to achieve set budgetsBuild new & leverage existing relationships with key insurance personnel within the industryLiaise with clients & insurersCoordinate access to properties with insured partiesLiaise with & engage sub-contractors during quotation stageEnsure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirementsEnsure all inspections, certificates & relevant documentation is signed offTravel around Ballarat & surrounding areasKey Selection Criteria: Building Trade or Construction QualificationEstimating / Insurance Building background ideal, however not essentialComputer literacyExcellent communication, customer service & relationship building skillsAbility to be empathetic to the needs of the clientAbility to manage multiple & competing prioritiesSound work ethicDrive & energyUnderstanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates/tradesCurrent motor vehicle licenceWe are a company of integrity and diversity.
