Estimator Residential Construction

Well established residential builder based in Caloundra seeking Residential Construction Estimator, the successful applicant will be joining a highly dedicated, driven team.
The Role: Working within the estimating department, you will be responsible for accurate material take offs. Sending & Receiving Purchase orders & Quotes. Updated cost centers, General Variation Pricing.
Key Responsibilities:  Production estimatingRaising Purchase Orders as requiredGenerating Specifications Resolving ordering overruns and making amendments as requiredMaintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and servicesMaintaining and updating estimating softwareObtaining and Comparing Subcontractor & Supplier QuotesExperience Required: Good construction knowledge Volume building estimating experience. (not essential but will benefit)Excellent communication skillsStrong computer skills and experience with estimating software & excel.Position will Favour onsite construction experience.Bizprac Software experience beneficial (not essential but will benefit)Diploma in Construction / building / civil engineer (not essential but will benefit) Remuneration is negotiable based upon experience.
