Our client is seeking an Estimator to join their dynamic team, contributing to the estimation of complex, high-value projects or extensive programs of work.
Reporting to a Senior Estimator, you will ensure cost estimates are developed according to established templates, standards, and methodologies, supporting strategic decision-making and project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates for capital work programs and projects to inform early planning and investment decisions, including regulatory determination periods.
Provide a detailed audit trail of scope and cost for each iteration of the cost estimates.
Develop estimating reports that clearly outline assumptions, exclusions, and methodologies.
Participate in Estimating Kick-Off meetings and collaborate with the team to define the estimation process.
Create and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) to document and address questions during the estimation process.
Present estimates to project sponsors, conducting line-by-line reviews and fully explaining assumptions and exclusions.
Collaborate with the Cost Intelligence Manager and Estimating Team to ensure estimates meet project requirements and standards.

Our client delivers Major Projects that are technically complex, often exceeding $50 million in value.
These projects require specialist skills to address a range of technical and stakeholder challenges.
Work includes large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy initiatives, such as clean hydrogen energy projects.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to present and explain estimates effectively.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work under supervision.
Familiarity with industry-standard estimation methodologies and tools.
