About the opportunity The Sales Estimator works closely with the Sales Consultants, reports to the Sales Estimating Manager and is part of the Sales Estimating team. The key focus of this role is to accurately determine and calculate estimates of new quote requests. More specifically, you will:
Estimating on a range of homes including single storey, split-level and double-storey designs Generation of site costs including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculations Completion of sales tenders on registered and unregistered land utilising site inspection photos and reports, satellite photos and street view by near map Reading and interpreting construction plans checking of compliance and construction methodology Creation of pre-contract variation pricing and preparation of scope of works Appraisal of external reports to assist you in costing each project Liaise with various internal stakeholders Assist with other areas including but not limited to contract variations About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
1-3 years' experience in a similar role and industry (ideally) Knowledge of the Building Codes of Australia and relevant Australian Standards Experience interpreting building plans and associated reports and documentation Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets Ability to work autonomously and in within a wider team Interested? The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.
