About the Role:We're looking for a skilled Estimator, ideally with structural steel knowledge to join a leading manufacturing business.About the Company:The business is a large structural steel manufacturer who act as a one stop shop from design through to installation of structural steel on large scale projects throughout Victoria.Key Responsibilities:Estimate Costs: Read blueprints and project documents to calculate accurate costs for structural steel projects.Supplier Interaction: Work with vendors to get quotes and ensure best prices and quality.Prepare Bids: Create detailed bid packages and proposals for clients.Manage Costs: Track and control project costs, finding savings and managing risks.Reporting: Prepare reports and documentation to support project planning and decisions.Ideal Candidate:Experience: At least 3 years in estimating or a similar role.Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills.Education: Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.Why Join them:Competitive Salary: Good pay with bonus opportunities.Career Growth: Room for professional development and advancement.Work Environment: Be part of a supportive and innovative team.
