Role An experienced Estimator is required to join the Estimating team of 4 due to an internal promotion and increase in workload.
With the support of the Estimating Manager, Senior Estimator, and Directors, your responsibilities will include:
Managing estimating and pricing activities. Coordinate multiple estimates and define areas of responsibility. Perform quantity take-offs and produce bills of quantities. Review material and labour requirements, selecting cost-effective trades. Approve and submit final cost estimates to clients. Attend tender interviews and prospect new client relationships. Liaise with the construction team and prepare project schedules. Hand over projects to the delivery team. Software used: Planswift, Bluebeam and MS Projects
Requirements Relevant Tertiary Qualification At least 4+ years in an Estimating position for a commercial builder Ability to accurately price commercial projects up to $20M Commutable to Ballarat or Geelong Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team player and positive attitude Willingness to learn To apply for the role, please apply below with a resume highlighting the required experience.
