The OpportunityAre you a detail-oriented professional who thrives on precision?
BildGroup is seeking a meticulous Estimator to join our Bitu-Mill Division based in Campbellfield, Victoria.
Working across both the Asphalt and Profiling departments within Bitu-Mill, you will be pivotal in shaping our success.
Your role as an Estimator will involve providing accurate project cost assessments and detailed estimates, ensuring our client relationships remain robust and our projects meet the highest standards.
Your role will be responsible for:Preparing and evaluating bid/tender documentation by thoroughly understanding the project scope, reviewing relevant drawings and specifications, and incorporating project-specific factors into estimates.Developing construction methodologies in collaboration with divisional staff, and ensuring timely and clear scoping of subcontractor and supplier quotes.Preparing conforming and competitive bids, including alternative tenders where appropriate, and finalising tender documentation while addressing any post-tender queries.Identifying and estimating labour, plant, material, and time requirements, maintaining and enhancing estimating platforms, and building resource libraries to support accurate tender submissions.Evaluating key risks and advantages of each submission, compiling detailed analyses of tenders, and managing the transition of successful tenders to delivery teams.Developing and maintaining customer relationships, resolving discrepancies through detailed analysis, and contributing to team goals by preparing submission programs and achieving related results.You will bring along the following:A minimum of 5 years' experience with 2 years of estimating experience within the Road Construction, Asphalt, or Profiling industry.Highly effective communicator in both verbal and written forms.Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.A valid Driver's License to facilitate your fieldwork.Why Bild Group?Challenging and dynamic initiatives.Transparent avenues for advancement.Stability in employment.We offer:Employee Award and Recognition Program.Monthly team BBQ's.Social and welcoming culture.Financial support for further training and education.Competitive remuneration and benefits.If you are ready to contribute to a leading team where every day presents new challenges and opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
