Estimator

You've got three years under your belt as an Estimator in commercial construction, and all of a sudden, there are no projects on the horizon.Let's change that!Your next role will be to work alongside the existing estimator within the business on separate upcoming tenders. Your focus would be the continued upkeep of rates, subcontractor vetting, and final pricing reviews. You will work in conjunction with the bid team and the Director.The business welcomes and supports individuals aspiring to progress in their careers. You will have monthly catch-ups with your Senior Estimator and Director to make sure you're getting all the support you need. The culture is one of like-minded individuals with a strong focus on collaboration and celebrating the wins.The business utilises the cloud-based estimating software program Cubit/Buildsoft and, as a result, is open to candidates based in regional locations, as it has offices on the peninsula and in northern Victoria.To be successful in this role, you will need to have worked as an estimator in the commercial construction sector for a head contractor for a minimum of three years. You will also need to be highly experienced in winning work/tendering and refurb projects and have extensive experience with services. The business has started growing over the last five years with little turnover; the director and general manager are approachable, forward-thinking, and likeable.
