Estimator | £34,000 - £38,000 | NottinghamshireMonday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00 | 37.5 Hours Per WeekCherry Professional are currently recruiting for an Estimator for a leading supplier in the building industry.The successful candidate will have proven experience within the shopfitting, shelving, joinery, point of sale, provision or design of interiorsWhat we are looking for:- Proven experience within the shopfitting or POS industryis essential- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment- Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. (experience with Autodesk AutoCAD LT preferablenot essential)- Knowledge and good understanding of health and safety regulations-Driving licence and own transport preferableKey responsibilities:- Preparing detailed cost and component breakdowns from drawings or text descriptions- Conversing with clients to understand their needs and expectations in order to obtain the brief and create quotations- Work closely with the construction teams to ensure that projects are executed according to plan- Prepare health and safety documents (RAMS) for projects where they are carrying out site services- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and safety regulationsWhat they can offer you:- Flexibility on the working hours- 20 days holiday a year increasing to 25 days based on service plus all bank holidays- Additional time off over the Christmas period- Opportunity to work for a fast growing company with clients all over the UK and mainland EuropeCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
