Estimator | £34,000 - £38,000 | Nottinghamshire

Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00 | 37.5 Hours Per Week



Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for an Estimator for a leading supplier in the building industry.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within the shopfitting, shelving, joinery, point of sale, provision or design of interiors



What we are looking for:



- Proven experience within the shopfitting or POS industryis essential

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment

- Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. (experience with Autodesk AutoCAD LT preferablenot essential)

- Knowledge and good understanding of health and safety regulations

-Driving licence and own transport preferable



Key responsibilities:



- Preparing detailed cost and component breakdowns from drawings or text descriptions

- Conversing with clients to understand their needs and expectations in order to obtain the brief and create quotations

- Work closely with the construction teams to ensure that projects are executed according to plan

- Prepare health and safety documents (RAMS) for projects where they are carrying out site services

- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and safety regulations
