Estimator

A highly reputable and regarded Building Company/Developer is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Our client is well known for the delivery of quality new home builds on newly developed land parcels. As the Estimator, you will closely liaise with the development and construction teams on all residential projects.

Responsibilities for this Position:Prepare orders to suppliers and sub-contractorsMaintain and update items and pricing of estimating templatesManage the Estimating build workflowLiaise and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, supervisors, and buildersIdentify new and efficient processes for completing accurate Bill of QuantitiesTo be ideally suitable for this position you will have:A minimum of 3 years experience in Estimating in the Construction/ Development IndustryAbility to interpret plans and specificationsPossess a high level of skill to manage a packaging workflow effectivelyPreferably a trade background demonstrating knowledge of the construction processWorking knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word and ExcelRelevant tertiary and trade qualificationsWe are seeking an individual who has:The ability to work well as an individual as well as in a team environmentKnowledge of Brisbane construction marketExceptional verbal and written communication skillsCompetent with problem-solvingSelf-motivated/ go-getter with a desire for accuracyWell organised and able to meet deadlinesPlease call Miller Langford-Ely on 0466 806 871 for more information or email your CV to ******.
