The Opportunity: We currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Estimator for our Boral Asphalt team.
Based in Stonyfell SA 5066, you will be responsible for maximizing profit and financial performance through the effective and efficient management of the estimating process.Key Duties:Professionally prepare quotes, offers, tenders, and expressions of interest.Manage contract risk through efficient and effective pre-tender reviews, contract reviews, project post audits, and the application of appropriate training.Work with key in-house personnel to gain buy-in and benefit from their insights during the estimating process.Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.Value add wherever possible to meet and/or exceed client expectations, improve profitability, and improve market share.Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.About You:Proven ability and experience in estimating / contract negotiation / contract administration / project management within the construction or civil construction industry.Tertiary qualifications in either Civil Engineering or Project Management (preferable).A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Strong computer skills in an estimating program and Microsoft Office.Sound presentation skills.An attitude and commitment that will fit a highly motivated team environment.What's on Offer?Competitive salary PLUS tool of trade and Boral company benefits on offer.Genuine career development opportunities within Boral Australia.Ongoing mentoring and guidance from outstanding industry leaders and colleagues.Opportunity to work for an organisation dedicated to health, safety, and the environment.Access to an online learning & development platform that provides access to resources for your personal and professional growth.Access to a variety of support networks including the Boral Employee Assistance Program.
