With a healthy and growing pipeline of work, we are looking for a talented and motivated Estimator to deliver the full tender process of small to medium scale projects. You will assist the team in the overall coordination of a portfolio of tenders, submissions and BOQs, aiding the coordination and production of attractive, high-quality submissions. You will work in a team environment in support of the Senior Estimator and New Business Manager.
What you'll do: Assisting in the preparation of tender proposals and submissionsLiaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotesPartake in maintaining effective relationships with a range of external project stakeholdersContribute to maintaining accurate and up to date cost informationParticipate in tender interviews in support of the Senior EstimatorLiaise with project teams and adhere to project schedulesSuggest improvements for our estimating processes and systemsAbout you: Genuine passion for the Construction industry and EstimatingTertiary qualified in Construction Management / a related discipline or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience working as an Estimator across multiple projects in a Tier 1 or 2 setting (desirable)New construction and fitout background (desirable)CostX and Estimate One experience (desirable)Knowledge of construction systems and methodologiesStrong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skillsAble to juggle multiple priorities and context switch quicklyA strong team focus, and highly motivatedHow you'll benefit: 5-day work week (exception of Site Managers/Supervisors who work 10 days in 14, with every other Saturday off)Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support our staff through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
