Description
The Company: Our client is a prominent manufacturer of high-quality commercial-grade doors and frames, boasting a successful trading history spanning over 30 years. With factories located in Lilydale and Campbellfield, they produce and distribute a wide range of products, including fire-rated swing and slider doors, acoustic and escape doors, as well as routed, solid, or semi-solid doors. Frames are manufactured in both timber and pressed metal. Clients consist exclusively of Tier 1, 2 & some Tier 3 builders who work across a wide range of commercial building types, no residential projects.
The Role: As an Estimator, your primary responsibility is to calculate the costs associated with manufacturing, delivering, and installing doors, frames, and related products. Key responsibilities include:

Doing take-offs
Preparing detailed cost estimates
Submitting competitive quotes
Advising customers
Ensuring financial project viability

What Are We Looking For? To excel in this role, you should have:

A minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Estimator
Previous experience in the construction, building, engineering or building materials industry
Previous experience doing take-offs from architectural plans
Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

You will also require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as this is a client-facing role. You'll need to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, sales teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
