Estimator

About: Our client, an established third tier builder with a reputation for delivering architecturally striking projects, is looking for an Estimator.
Overview: We're looking for an Estimator with a background in creating winning tenders in the new build construction market in the $5-$15 million bracket. To be considered, you will be financially/mathematically astute and understand material costs, subcontractor pricing, and how to independently create competitive tenders. You may have worked as a quantity surveyor or a cost planner before moving into estimating and be ready for your next move. Duties will include managing the estimating and tender processes, preparing a scope of works, developing programs, reviewing contracts, vetting quotes, measuring quantities, and managing the post-tender process while working within a team environment.
Requirements: A track record of winning financially successful projects. Three+ years estimating experience. Third-tier construction background. Relevant tertiary qualifications. Highly IT literate with first-class communication skills.
