About the role
As an Estimator at Building Safety Products Australia, you will play a crucial role in the fit out of car parks for predominantly new construction projects, providing accurate cost estimates and technical expertise to our clients. This full-time position is based in Ormeau, Queensland, and offers the opportunity to work for a leading provider of car park products and services.
What you'll be doing Preparing detailed quotations based on specifications, drawings, and other project documentationProviding technical guidance and advice to clients throughout the estimating processAttending site visits and meetings to gather information and clarify project requirementsPreparing and submitting quotations to potential clientsCollaborating with BSP installers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with project scope and client expectationsWhat we're looking for Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably within the Construction and Estimating sectorsProficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentationMust be able to learn and understand BSP products and services inside and out.Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.Must excel in relationship building with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clientsProficient in using estimating software including Bluebeam and other relevant toolsFamiliarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practicesWhat we offer
